NOMS response to the investigation of 'AA' published

The National Offender Management Service (NOMS) response to the independent investigation into the attempted suicide of AA at HMP & YOI Holloway on 2nd May 2004 is published today.
UK NPM launch their first annual report

The UK National Prevention Mechanism (NPM) have published their first annual report on the 8th February 2011. The NPM was established following the UK’s ratification of the Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (OPCAT).
