CQC - Monitoring the Mental Health Act 2015/16

Care Quality Commission have published their report on Monitoring the Mental Health Act 2015/16. The Mental Health Act 1983 (MHA) is the legal framework that provides authority to admit, detain and treat patients in mental health hospitals. This can only be done to people who have, or appear to have, a mental disorder, and who are putting their own health or safety, or other people’s safety at risk.
